Extended Schools
Extended services are here to help schools in delivering the full "core offer". The core offer includes supporting parents with childcare, providing a varied menu of activities for students, offering parenting support, providing swift and easy access to specialist services and increasing community access and links with the school.
The Extended Services team provide a wide and varied menu of activities in the school holidays too. A brochure is distributed approximately 2 weeks before the end of each term.
All holiday activities are heavily subsidised and free to students who are eligible for free school meals (contact me for more information on 01262 672059). There’s lots of fun to be had so ensure you book your places and join us!
Headlands School is “working together” with other agencies and partners to ensure you and your children have access to any services you may require. These include our very own school
Counsellor, Health Drop in Clinic, Peer Mentoring Scheme and parents social group called “Coffee Mate”.
If you require any information on these and any other services then please give me a call.
If you would like to find more detailed information on early years and childcare, local and national agencies, voluntary organisations, youth clubs and leisure and play activities in Bridlington and the East Riding then please call FISH (Families Information and Services Hub) on 01482 396469 or click on this link to visit their website.
