Our School Day
Our school day is organised to provide education at times when our children learn best and also to maximise opportunities for extra-curricular activities. Our morning session starts at 8.25 and ends at 12.45. The afternoon session runs from 13.25 to 14.45.
The times above include a mid morning break and a 40 minute lunch period and provide a teaching time of 5 x 60 minute periods per day. In addition, each tutor group has a 20 minute tutorial session each day which may include an assembly.
Healthy lunches are provided in 2 canteens on site or students may also choose to bring packed lunches. Students from Year 7 to 9 are expected to stay on site for their lunch, whilst students in Years 10 to 13 are able to leave the site at lunchtime if they prefer.
