Christmas Letter

2015 will be our 50th Year and a good one for Headlands School. Across all year groups, I am proud to say our students have been working tirelessly to make at least good progress in their learning, day in, day out. As a result I have invited OFSTED Inspectors into the school on three occasions since September. I am pleased to report they have confirmed the Action Plans we have in place are robust and will continue to deliver at least good academic results for our students in 2015 and beyond.

Year 10 Drama Performance

On Wednesday 10 December in the Main Hall I would like to invite students, parents and carers to attend a Year 10 GCSE Drama Performance with a difference. The theme of the performance is Child Sexual Exploitation or CSE for short.

On Thursday 9th October 30 sports leaders from Headlands School took part in a sports festival at Burlington Junior School. A pupil at the school had won a national award for his commitment to sport and as part of his prize won a visit from none other than Sir Steve Redgrave.
