Support For Learning
Headlands School is “working together” with other agencies and partners both internally and externally to ensure you and your children have access to any services you may require. These include our very own school One to One Tuition delivered by our newly appointed Achievement Mentors, School Counsellor, Health Drop in Clinic, Student Support Programmes and Peer Mentoring Scheme.
If you require any information on these and any other services then please give me a call.
If you would like to find more detailed information on early years and childcare, local and national agencies, voluntary organisations, youth clubs and leisure and play activities in Bridlington and the East Riding then please call FISH (Families Information and Services Hub) on 01482 396469 or click on this link to visit their website.

The Support for Learning Department utilises additional funding given to the school through the Pupil Premium and Catch Up Premium funding streams to support students with Literacy and Numeracy. We assess the needs of individual students and decide the best way to use the funding. This could be through an intensive one to one or group approach. We select programmes and approaches where we feel there is good evidence of effectiveness in improving outcomes. In doing this we take every care to minimise the risk of students missing out on mainstream lessons.
