Dear Parent / Carer
Re: Tag* Games at Break and Lunchtimes
Several students in years 7 & 8 have requested that they are allowed to play “Tag” games at Break and Lunchtimes either on the schools tennis courts or playing fields. This game is indeed a great way for students to keep fit and the vast majority of our students are able to play these games appropriately.
However, even though the games are not supposed to involve any physical contact – accidents do sometimes occur. Rather than a blank “ban” of students from participating in “Tag” games I would like to propose that parents make individual decisions and choose to request their child does not take part. Please find attached a Reply Slip below.
By not replying you are accepting and agreeing that accidents may happen which could lead to physical injury of your child and / or damage to their school clothing. You are therefore also agreeing that you will not hold Headlands School responsible in the event of an accident occurring.
Many thanks for your support in this matter.
