Headlands School is seeking two talented, ambitious and inspirational Science Teachers to join our committed Science Department who demonstrate an infectious passion for teaching their subject.

As a classroom practitioner you will be able to demonstrate you are a committed team player and that you can enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge our students to raise their achievement regardless of their prior attainment.

• NQT’s are welcome to apply.
• For teachers currently undergoing teacher training, a start date of July 2020 will be considered, on completion of training courses.

The successful post holder will recognise that excellent practitioners can teach across the age and ability range.

With excellent communication skills, and experience of successfully implementing strategies to develop teaching and learning within your own class room. A highly organised individual with the ability to lead initiatives, introduce new strategies and evaluate their impact on outcomes.

Exam Invigilators (Casual posts)

Point 1 (£9.00 per hour + holiday pay)

#TeamHeadlands are seeking to recruit a diverse team of diligent, pragmatic and efficient exam invigilators to support the orderly conduct of the examination function.

You will work on a timetabled schedule to assist in ensuring the smooth running of the exams with the minimum disturbance and stress to the students.

You will monitor students during their examinations and assist with distributing and collecting exam papers, monitoring the
exam venue to ensure that no unfair means are used by any student in relation to the exam and any other exam related duties.

The hours will vary between 8.00am and 4.30 pm, with the main examination times being November, January, February, May and June. No experience is required as training will be given.

This post provides an excellent opportunity to work in a well-resourced school and within a
dedicated and hard-working team.
